Allahabad HC denies bail to Tauqeer Raza in Bareilly violence case
The Allahabad High Court has rejected the bail plea of Maulana Tauqeer Raza in connection with the 2025 Bareilly violence. The court stated that Raza's speech challenged India's sovereignty and integrity. Raza was arrested in October 2025 following a violent rally in September 2025. Police had reported that he called for a large assembly.
