Poisonous Liquor Incidents in Madhya Pradesh Cause Multiple Deaths
Multiple incidents of poisonous liquor consumption in Madhya Pradesh have resulted in numerous deaths and hospitalizations. In Morena, 24 deaths were reported, while in Sagar, 15 deaths were reported. Official figures in Sagar indicated 13 deaths and over 100 people hospitalized, with a magistrate's inquiry ordered. Six liquor shops in the affected Sagar area were sealed as a precaution. Police filed First Information Reports (FIRs) against 30 individuals in connection with the Sagar incident.
