Biocon secures 10-year Pertuzumab supply deal in Brazil
Biopharmaceutical company Biocon has secured a 10-year supply contract for Pertuzumab, a therapy for breast cancer, in Brazil. The company, in a consortium with Bahiafarma and Bionovis, received full allocation under Brazil's PDP programme. This allocation is expected to provide access to approximately 70% of the public sector's demand for the therapy. Following the announcement, Biocon shares saw a 2% increase.
