Kanpur Businessman Murder: Wife Arrested, Police Investigate Calls
Police in Kanpur have arrested Shaloo, the daughter-in-law of pharmaceutical businessman Vineet Minocha, in connection with his murder. Minocha was found dead in his Ratan Orbit apartment. Initial reports suggested he died of a heart attack, with his mouth allegedly covered by a pillow. However, subsequent investigation revealed he was stabbed with a knife. Police are examining call records showing Shaloo made approximately 30 calls to a former employee, Vishal, in the 21 days leading up to the murder, while her husband, Subrat, made around 300 calls to the same individual. The motive for the murder is under investigation.
