Bhopal Junior Doctors Protest: Police Use Force, Doctors Announce Strike
Junior doctors in Bhopal, protesting for an increase in their stipend from ₹14,337 to ₹30,000, marched towards the Chief Minister's residence. Near Hamidia Hospital, police used water cannons and batons to disperse the protesters. The protest involved intern doctors from Gandhi Medical College. In response to the police action, the Joint Doctors Association (JUDA) announced the closure of OPD and OT services.
