Uttar Pradesh CM Announces Textile Investments and Anganwadi Worker Pay Hike
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the two-day UP Textiles Conclave-2026, where Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed for new investment proposals totaling Rs 5,196 crore in the textile sector. Additionally, letters of comfort worth Rs 163 crore were issued, and subsidies amounting to Rs 60 crore were distributed. During the event, he also launched the UP Tek Mitra Portal and the Hathkargha Bunakar Samriddhi Yojana. Separately, Adityanath announced an increase in the monthly honorarium for Anganwadi workers, raising it to Rs 12,000.
