India Approves Electricity Export to Nepal Amidst Floods
India has approved the expedited export of electricity to Nepal to help the nation meet its power requirements during a period of flooding. The approval allows for the export of up to 654 MW of power for 18 hours daily until December 31. India's Power Ministry stated this move will assist Nepal during its difficult time and further strengthen energy cooperation between the two countries.
