Manipur violence: Kuki group admits role in Naga killings; NIA probes church leaders' deaths
A Kuki-Zo Council has publicly acknowledged that members of the Kuki community were responsible for the deaths of six Naga civilians in Manipur. The council chairman described the killings as a "great mistake" made during an "outburst of emotion." Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the separate killing of three church leaders in the state. Thousands participated in a rally in Imphal demanding justice for the slain Nagas.
