Europeans invited to vote on new euro banknote designs
The European Central Bank (ECB) has invited citizens across the Eurozone to vote on proposed designs for future euro banknotes. The public survey is open until September 21. Designs under consideration include historical figures such as Marie Curie and Leonardo da Vinci, and a potential shift to a vertical format. The new banknotes are anticipated to enter circulation around 2030.
