AI Model Launched to Digitize Sanskrit Heritage
Madras Sanskrit College, in collaboration with the technology firm Articul8 AI, launched an artificial‑intelligence model designed to digitize Sanskrit texts. The model is intended to make Sanskrit material searchable, verifiable and traceable to its original source. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the initiative could allow India’s literary treasures to be accessed by anyone anywhere in the world at any time.
