US House Advances Russia Sanctions Bill With Potential Tariffs on India
The U.S. House of Representatives has advanced a bill aimed at sanctioning Russia, which includes provisions that could impose 100% tariffs on countries like India that purchase Russian oil and gas. The resolution passed by a 214-211 vote, moving the legislation closer to a final vote expected on September 16.
