Human Remains Found in Grand Canyon After Deadly Floods
Human remains have been discovered near Crystal Rapids in the Grand Canyon, more than two weeks after flash floods swept through the area. The floods, which occurred in late August, resulted in two deaths and one person missing. Officials have declined to identify the remains, but one report identified the missing hiker as Timothy Smith, 53. The discovery was made by the National Park Service.
