Kerala SIT searches Reporter TV over Messi event probe
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted searches at five locations in Kerala, including the newsroom of Reporter TV in Kochi, as part of a probe into alleged financial irregularities concerning an event featuring Lionel Messi. Police stated that the searches were conducted due to non-cooperation from the channel. Reporter TV, however, alleged high-handed action by the police. An opposition leader condemned the police action.
