Chhattisgarh braces for heavy rainfall due to Western Disturbance
Chhattisgarh is expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next four days, according to weather reports. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for thunderstorms and lightning in several districts. The rainfall is attributed to the influence of a Western Disturbance and a cyclonic circulation. Following a lull in monsoon activity, temperatures are predicted to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius, with Rajnandgaon already recorded as the hottest district. The weather system is expected to impact the monsoon's strength in the region.
