Vinayaka idol immersion processions held in Tiruchi and Bhubaneswar
Processions for the immersion of Vinayaka idols were held in Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu, and Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In Tiruchi, idols of various sizes were taken in processions to the Cauvery River for immersion. Traffic diversions were announced in Tiruchi to facilitate the processions. In Bhubaneswar, the immersion of Ganesh Puja idols was scheduled to take place at seven designated locations starting from the day of coverage.
