New Passport Rules for Minors Issued by Ministry of External Affairs
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has amended passport rules concerning minors. Passports issued to children under 15 years of age will now have a validity of five years or until the child turns 18, whichever comes first. This change applies to new passport applications for individuals under the age of 15.
