BJP launches anti-drug campaign in Punjab amid convoy attack allegations
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a 4,000-kilometer 'Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra' (Drug-Free Punjab March) across all 117 constituencies in Punjab. The campaign aims to combat drug abuse in the state and includes the rollout of an anti-drug helpline. During the campaign's launch, BJP leader Ravneet Bittu alleged that his cavalcade was attacked by a mob of approximately 500 people. Bittu pointed fingers at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the alleged attack.
