Ladakh's High-Altitude Flower Fields Opened to Public
The world's highest-altitude twin flower fields in Ladakh have been dedicated to the public. Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, R.K. Mathur, inaugurated the fields, which are located in the cold desert region. The opening coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. The flower fields are noted for blooming at an exceptionally high altitude.
