US National Granted Bail in NIA Terror Probe
A US national, identified as Van Dyke, has been granted default bail by a Delhi court in a case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Van Dyke was arrested on suspicion of having links with Myanmar-based armed groups and alleged involvement in a terror conspiracy. The NIA had reportedly sought custody of the individual. The bail was granted after the NIA failed to file a chargesheet within the stipulated period.
