MP High Court Judge Pledges Retirement Benefits to PM CARES Fund
Justice Avanindra Kumar Singh, a retiring judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, has pledged to donate his retirement benefits amounting to ₹1.1 crore to the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund. He also pledged to donate his body. The donation is reportedly the largest such contribution from an individual to the PM CARES Fund. Justice Singh is set to retire on June 10.
