Reform UK Donor's Loan to Academic in Libel Case
Reform UK mega-donor Ben Delo loaned £350,000 to academic Nina Power, who was involved in a libel case. A judge found Power and a friend's social media posts related to the case had "the whiff of threat and antisemitism." The Financial Times reported that Delo's backing of the libel claim now gives him control over Power's home. The Guardian stated that Delo is a new mega-donor to Reform UK.
