IIT Bombay student dies by suicide; protests erupt on campus
A student at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay died by suicide hours after being found with a phone in an examination hall. The institute stated that the student had uploaded the examination question paper to ChatGPT to seek answers. Following the incident, approximately 400 students protested on campus.
