Delhi and Bengal Police bust fake call centres, 30 arrested
Police in Delhi and West Bengal have busted two separate fake international call centres involved in financial fraud. In Delhi, 23 people were arrested after police raided three call centres. Digital evidence is being analysed to understand the full hierarchy of the alleged network. In West Bengal's Bardhaman district, police detained seven individuals for operating a Jamtara-style loan fraud call centre. The operations in both locations targeted fraudulent schemes.
