Rajasthan C-section Deaths Rise, Probe Committee Formed
Two more women have died in Rajasthan following C-section procedures, bringing the total maternal deaths in the state to 19 in the last three months. The women underwent surgery at the Bundi government hospital and later died in Kota after complications arose and they were transferred. An operating theatre at the Bundi medical facility has been sealed, and a probe committee has been formed to investigate the deaths. The incidents occurred in Bundi.
