Indian athletes face accommodation crisis at 2026 Asian Games
Indian athletes participating in the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya are facing an accommodation crisis. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has established a three-layer management system to address the situation. In response to the hotel crisis, approximately 2000 members of the Indian diaspora have offered to provide accommodation to the athletes. Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has taken action following reports of the crisis.
