Uttar Pradesh Hikes Allowance and Health Cover for PRD Jawans
The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the daily duty allowance for Provincial Defence Force (PRD) jawans from ₹500 to ₹600. Additionally, PRD jawans will now receive cashless medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh in government and private hospitals. An official order (shasanadesh) has been issued for these benefits.
