Uttar Pradesh Transfers 10 Senior IAS Officers
In Uttar Pradesh, 10 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred. The transfers, which occurred on a Sunday, follow earlier transfers of Provincial Civil Service (PCS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Saturday. The stated reason for the transfers is to streamline functioning within departments. Among those transferred is Amit Kumar Ghosh, whose responsibilities for Medical and Health, and Medical Education have been removed. Ranvir Prasad is also among the 10 senior IAS officers transferred. Other officers mentioned as transferred include Ashish Goyal and Anil Kumar.
