Trump to Meet Zelenskyy, NYC Mayor Mamdani in New York
U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in New York ahead of the UN General Assembly. Zelenskyy stated the meeting "could change a lot" regarding a resolution to the war with Russia. Trump will also meet with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani at Gracie Mansion on Monday. The meetings coincide with the UN General Assembly, which will host nearly 130 world leaders, with discussions expected to include the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. Separately, U.S. and Chinese officials, including Scott Bessent and He Lifeng, are holding high-level talks in New York ahead of a Trump-Xi summit.
