Pakistan's Petrol Price May Reach ₹1000/Litre, Minister Warns
Pakistan's Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik has expressed concern that petrol prices in the country could reach ₹1000 per litre. He also warned that there might be a time when petrol is unavailable even with money. Malik stated that Pakistan has made arrangements for petrol supply until October. Meanwhile, the Finance Minister has warned that ongoing protests could cost the economy ₹120 billion per day.
