India-New Zealand FTA to take effect October 20

The India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will come into force on October 20. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon confirmed the date, stating the pact has been finalised. The agreement involves New Zealand removing all tariffs on goods imported from India. India will remove or reduce tariffs on 95% of current imports from New Zealand, granting duty-free access for 100% of India's exports to New Zealand. The deal's signing occurred earlier this year in New Delhi.
