Delhi High Court dismisses CBI probe plea against Justice Yashwant Varma
The Delhi High Court has dismissed a plea seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry against Justice Yashwant Varma. The court questioned the petitioner's motives, asking if they had 'nothing better to do'. The plea was related to an alleged attack on lawyers within the Bar Council of India (BCI) premises. The court also stated that it is wrong to tarnish the image of the Delhi Police without concrete evidence.
