DMK Functionary, Others Booked in Srirangam Temple Land Fraud Case
Tiruchy police have registered a case against a DMK functionary, identified as Ramkumar, and five others in connection with a land fraud involving property belonging to the Srirangam temple. Ramkumar, who is a DMK area secretary in Tiruchirappalli, allegedly encroached on the temple land using forged documents. Reports indicate that his wife is a councillor in Tiruchirappalli. The encroached land is reportedly being used to run a party office.
