Supreme Court Questions EC on Delhi Voter List Notices
The Supreme Court has questioned the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding the issuance of notices to approximately 30 to 33 lakh voters in Delhi as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. The court raised concerns about "logical discrepancies" in the process and suggested the ECI implement filters before issuing such notices. The ECI was asked to provide a response and clarify the procedure.
