Supreme Court stays death sentence for man convicted of child sexual assault
The Supreme Court of India has stayed the death sentence of a man convicted of sexually assaulting three minor girls. The court has postponed the execution and scheduled the next hearing for 20 weeks later. The bench requested reports from the trial court and the High Court, whose previous decision was also put on hold.
