India boosts tank fleet with indigenous Auxiliary Power Units

India's Ministry of Defence has signed a contract worth Rs 586 crore to procure indigenous Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) for its T-72 and T-90 tanks. The contract was awarded to Accurate Industrial Controls Private Limited, aiming to strengthen the country's armoured fleet and indigenize critical components.
