Indian-origin Nila Vikhe Patil elected to Swedish Parliament
Nila Vikhe Patil, whose father is Maharashtra educationist Ashok Vikhe Patil, has been elected as a Member of Parliament in Sweden. She won a seat from the Stockholm City constituency on September 19, 2026, representing the Green Party in the 349-member Riksdag. Vikhe Patil is 41 years old.
