Supreme Court Orders Action on Commercial Use of Residential Properties
The Supreme Court of India has ordered municipal bodies to take action against residential properties being used for commercial purposes. The court stated that business activities will not be permitted in residential areas and that negligence in sealing such properties will not be tolerated. The directives were issued to municipal bodies across the country.
