RBI's Forex Swap Window Attracts Over $143 Billion

The Reserve Bank of India's special window for foreign currency non-resident (B) (FCNR(B)) deposits attracted a total of $143.59 billion. The window, initially set to close on September 30, was closed early on August 31 due to an "encouraging response." FCNR(B) deposits led the inflows.
