Supreme Court Declines Surrogacy Custody Dispute
The Supreme Court has declined to intervene in a surrogacy custody dispute. A surrogate, who refused an abortion after a fetus was diagnosed with a serious heart problem, had asked the justices to block a court order granting custody to the biological parents. The court's decision means it will stay out of the case.
