India and Bhutan Collaborate on Rhino Conservation

On World Rhino Day, India and Bhutan's joint conservation efforts for the one-horned rhino were highlighted. A translocation program in Manas Tiger Reserve increased the rhino population from zero to 48 over 20 years. However, increased movement of rhinos across the India-Bhutan international border has raised new concerns.
