Calcutta HC to hear Nandigram bypoll candidate's plea for protection
The Calcutta High Court will hear a plea on September 22 from Milan Pradhan, a candidate for the Nandigram by-election, seeking protection. The court also directed the Bengal government's counsel to allow Pradhan, the Congress candidate, to contest the by-election if he obtains bail.
