Congress blames BJP, EC for Nagaon attack during Assam bypoll campaign
During the Assam bypoll campaign in Nagaon, Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi and Bhupesh Baghel alleged their convoy was attacked with stones and bottles. The Congress party has blamed the BJP and the Election Commission for the incident. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sarma, however, blamed Congress rivals for the attack.
