OpenAI Launches Cheaper GPT-6 Sol and Luna Models
OpenAI has expanded its GPT-6 lineup with two new models, Sol and Luna, which offer lower-cost alternatives to its flagship Astra system. GPT-6 Sol will cost $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, a 50% reduction from GPT-5.6 Sol's promotional prices. The company stated that the new models utilize similar training methods and incorporate improvements in reasoning, coding, and accuracy.
