Heavy Rain Triggers Weather Alerts Across Multiple Indian States
Heavy rain and thunderstorms were reported in several Indian states on the same day. In Kanpur, black dense clouds covered the sky from the morning and cold winds were expected to blow throughout the day. In Chhattisgarh, authorities warned of strong winds, possible lightning and heavy rain, with a weather alert issued for Raipur. In Odisha, the transport department placed all Regional Transport Offices on high alert because of the heavy rain.
