Five Drown in Jharkhand River During Karma Puja Immersion
In Jharkhand's Palamu district, five individuals drowned in the Koyal River near Bokeya Patariya village while immersing Karma Puja materials on Wednesday morning. The deceased included three minors. The strong current of the river swept them away. In a separate incident in Koderma, villagers who had gathered for Karam Dal immersion were reportedly attacked by whirlpools, resulting in dozens of people, including children, being injured.
