Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Election Lottery for Reservation Held
A lottery was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, to determine the reservation of seats for the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections. The lottery covered 57 District Council members and 386 Panchayat Samiti members. According to District Collector Sandesh Nayak, 50% of the seats across all 22 Panchayat Samitis, 57 District Councils, and 386 Panchayat Samiti members will be reserved for women.
