Ganpati Idol Decorated with Currency Notes and Dollars in Gujarat
In Amreli, Gujarat, a Ganpati idol has been uniquely decorated with Indian currency notes and US dollars, drawing public attention. The Sadhbhavana Group in Savarkundla adorned the idol with approximately ₹25 lakh in Indian currency, using ₹500 notes for the crown and ₹200 notes for the neckpiece. US dollars were also incorporated into the decoration this year. News18 Hindi reported the decoration used ₹21.21 lakh in notes, and a large crowd gathered to see the idol, necessitating strict security measures.
