India launches health screening portal amid global Ebola concerns

India's Civil Aviation Ministry, in collaboration with DIAL, has launched the Air Suvidha 2.0 portal for health screening at entry points. This initiative follows the World Health Organization's declaration of an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. The move aims to enhance screening measures in response to the global health situation, even as experts suggest India faces no immediate threat.
