KTR asks Supreme Court to monitor Election Commission probe
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao has urged the Supreme Court to take suo motu cognizance of concerns regarding the functioning of the Election Commission of India (ECI). Rao stated that the ECI is facing a crisis of confidence and that only a top-court-monitored inquiry can restore public trust. He specifically called for a Supreme Court-monitored probe into concerns over the ECI's "SIR process".
