DoorDash agrees to $131.5 million settlement for NYC delivery workers
DoorDash agreed to pay $131.5 million to settle a probe into its payment practices for delivery workers in New York City. The settlement will directly benefit more than 260,000 Dashers by addressing missing and late payments, and it also resolves a dispute over the calculation of on‑call pay. Times Now reported that the settlement was announced by Mamdani and that DoorDash said, “We screwed up.”
